Targa High Country 2014

On Saturday 8 November the town centre of Mansfield was transformed into a race track, as the Street Stage
of Targa High Country 2014.

A range of cars took part in the event, from classics including a 1967 Lotus Elan S3, 1971 Porsche 916 and 2013 Daytona Cobra replica, to a 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24, 2013 Audi TT RS Plus, and not one but several beautiful 2014 Jaguar F-Type Coupe R’s.

Under the view that you don’t need a lot of horsepower to have fun, one of the more distinctive cars
being raced was a 1955 Fiat Abarth 750! As it went past one of the surnames on the car looked familiar –
and it was – the little Fiat was being driven by a relative of the Editor of Tarmac Toys®!
